Went to watch the awesome Distant World orchestra thingy yesterday.
IT WAS BLOODY A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
and Nobuo Uematsu the composer himself was there!
He even went to help sing the vocal accompaniment with the VJ choir for the encore of "One-Winged Angel" which is like one of my biiiig favourites. I think it was Sephiroth's theme in Advent Children. They kept singing his name hahaha!
And when they played the opening, it was my favourite song from FFVIII, the main opening "Liberi Fatali". It made me feel so happy I could like spit out raaaainbowsss and sunshine and have My Little Ponies dancing around. -cough- And it was nice and haunting, just like the original song should be. Happy shivers yay :DD
ZOMG THE VJ CHOIR WAS AWESOME.
But the soprano soloist had a really weeeeak voice.
No depth at all. and it ruined my "Distant Worlds". Gah.
And if you're wondering why its a big deal they're here:
This is the guy who composed "Eternity", "To Zanarkand"(which was the second song btw!! And oh yeah, it was read TO Zanarkand as in "going to" because turns out, Zanarkand was a city itself. -.-;;) and also "Suteki Da Ne". You have to love that guy. And he's silly looking too. ahahaha!
The conductor was damn cute. His conducting uses his whole body too! It was like watching him trying to serve and block in volleyball or something xDDD
And I cant believe I've never heard of Ronfaure! It was so nice!
And Swing de Chocobo...
Abigail you missed ouuuuuuuuutttt!
