I've finally found a name for Xenia's village, the one she gets tranferred to when she hit 15 to learn her swordplay, ninjutsu and whatever trash trash crap. Mangetsu no mura, Village of the Full Moon~ Well actually it can also be read as Mitsuki no mura, but Mangetsu sounds so much nicer. I kicked myself later when it occured to me that it sounded a little too much like Mangekyou, courtesy to Aithein. Well, I've read that in Mangekyou there's always a full red moon. If I'm not wrong, 'mange' in 'mangetsu' would mean full, therefore 'tsu' would be 'moon'... But what the @#$% is 'kyou'? O_o Well I'm not changing it, I like the sound of Mangetsu.
Oh oh! And I've finally cracked the magic use ability for Frere&Caerst, thanks to the Bloodline Limit thing in Naruto. It occured to me how to balance out the magic at last.
"...Although not completely necessary, it is proven that users with a family history of magic use can unlock and control their elemental abilities much easier than their counterparts who do not have such lineage. It isn't always the case however, as is the case of many families, there have been children with strong magical lineages who cannot get close to unlocking their abilities. It isn't rare, but it's quite uncommon, only about 1 in perhaps a 150 children are as such.
The main thing that decides the strength in the magic is the ability to feel and control emotion. Such is a case that is especially strong in water and air magic, but not so much in dark, light, lightning, fire and earth. To be able to properly harness the full powers of the fluid elements, it is necessary to have full control of emotions. Impatience and frustration during the creation of perhaps, say, ice would lead to the final product emerging as melted or as plain water. Therefore, it is said that one must keep their emotions in check and match their feelings with the desired effect. For in the case of ice, it would be far less energy-consuming to be created by a cool and composed individual rather than an angry or enraged one.
Magic casting is based on stamina, and fully relies on the strength of the individual. Therefore it is known to be dangerous to learn magic, as beginners are usually unaware of their own limits and may die due to exceeding the same line of caution. This happens due to the fact that the energy left is unable to keep a simple action - such as the heart beating or breathing - working, and so the foolish individual collapses."
Xenia's case? Water magic, though she doesn't use ice very often cause she simply can't keep still and composed. Hn, hyperactivity...
